Club Pimpage

I know, I know, long time no post, blah blah, vain promises of more frequent updates, etc. I'm sorry, I've never been good with journals. :|

But hey. You know what you should totally check out? This totally awesome new club a friend and I created over on Deviantart.
It is for Ema. And Edgeworth. And Ema and Edgeworth TOGETHER. All the cool kids will totally be joining it. :U You should too.

...No, really. Come and make us feel less alone in our fandom. ;^;

o hai thar

Yeah, I know, I totally fail at LiveJournal. ;^;

Anyway, reason for this entry: I have a new blog, just for my artings.
Check me out over at jena_art.

It's totally empty at the moment, but I'll have stuff up soon, once I'm done with my convention prep/panic.

Which reminds me: Anime Boston, this friday. I have a table at the artist's alley, so anyone that's going please feel free to come bother me. XD

Now excuse me while I resume running around like a headless chicken, and trying to finish all this crap before friday. :D;; *runs*

Epic Fail

Well, it's been a while since my last update... not much and a lot has happened since then, at the same time. Meaning it's been mostly uneventful, but the one or two days that something did happen, a lot came at me at once.

The quickest way to sum it all up would be:

*headdesk x500* x___x;;

The full explination, I'll cut for the sake of everyone's sanity.

Emobunny alert! DXCollapse )

...Highly pessimistic people shouldn't be allowed into the medical field, goddammit. DX

Quick update (Quick? Define "quick"...)

Holy cow, it's an update in a somewhat reasonable amount of time! *waches world implode* D:

I had another doctor's appointment today. x_x My primary doctor sent me to some Orthopedic specialists, at the same place I got my xrays last time (which came back not showing anything, by the way). She said she didn't feel right sending me for an MRI without a better idea of what could be wrong, so said that these people would be much more likely to find my problem.

...To digress a little before I get into all the annoying medical jargen, you know...considering it was an office with a high likelyhood of people in severe back/leg/etc pain, you would THINK they'd get some more comfortable chairs in their waiting room. I swear to god, they reminded me of the really old, hard, stained wood, creaky chairs my grandparents had in their dining room. You know the ones that were supposed to be good for your posture (back in the 50s), but actually do more harm then good? >_>;; I had to wait out there for over 20 minutes, and I swear I though I would die. @_@;;

I'll skip over the various complaints about small things like the rediculous wait times and all (although here's a fun fact for you. When you're already anxious about things and getting twitchy about waiting for someone? Sound of a bone saw/cast removing saw suddenly going in the next room is NOT comforting to hear. Felt like I was in a bad horror movie suddenly.), and get on with it. I'm sure no one likes hearing me complain about this as it is without needless filler, lol.

The doctor lady was nice, kinda young (actually, she was the doctor's assistant or something. Which means she's qualified in everything but performing surgery), but generally pretty cool. She poked me a few times, asked me the same questions I've been asked about 5 million times since all this started (so help me, if ONE MORE person asks me if I'm pregnant in the new week, I swear to Ra, I am going to murder something), and.... sent me for xrays. Again. Because apparently last time, they forgot to take ones of my back, which is where she was convinced all this was originating from.

This time at least I didn't have to go anywhere, since they had an xray only a room away.

Anyeway all that went pretty quick, and when I went back to the room, she explained the xrays from before were fine and had no sigs of any issues...and then showed me the one of my back.

Which apparently, is pretty damn screwed up.

She told me my spine is too straight (which I find hysterical for some reason, since I've always been scolded for terrible posture), which according to her is caused by some serious muscle spazims. Pointed out some other things I can't recal/were too complicated, noted that it seems like I've developed a very mild case of arthritis in my lower back, and that while she doesn't have a 100% guarantee, it's almost certainly a herniated disk, possibly combined with a pinched saiatic nerve.

*sigh* So I'm going in for an MRI to get the final diagnosis, possibly within the week, and after that... well, right now I'm looking at a lot of physical therapy. x.x;; But I guess we'll see.

Oh well, as long as I regain the ability to leave the damn house, I won't complain. T__T;; I miss the outside world...

.....And now for something completely different (to break up all the emo).

Hyuuu... .-.

I'm really terrible at posting journals. .-.;; I don't know if it's just that I'm bad at focusing (which I am), or that I've been too tired/braindead from pain medication, or just that I usually don't like whining like an emobunny. But whatever it is, it makes me seriously fail at posting journals. x_X;;

So either way it's been...what, three/four months since my last post? *sweatdrop* Seeing how that horpital visit and the corrosponding rant were the day after Thanksgiving... *headdesk* Ugh.

And there hasn't been any improvment since then. In fact, I've reached the point where I'm almost completely bedridden. Even something as simple as walking to the kitchen for a glass of water (which is literally a five second walk from my room. I'm on the first floor, and one room away) is difficult. The only good thing after all this time is that now I have some form of insurance, so I finaly got to see an actual doctor yesterday. >.>;;

She was a really nice lady, but her waiting room was like a grandmother's house or something. .-.;; And she reminded me a bit of one of those aunts that owns a lot of antique-y crap, and has a really overly-calm/softspoken tone, and think cookies will solve all your problems. o.O;;

Unfortunately for me, she didn't know what was wrong with me either. X_X;; And then sent me BACK to the freaking hospital (who sent me to the building across the street), to get xrays done. Which was a first for me. @_@;; So I was a tad freaked out. But I guess it wasn't so bad. The lady that took them was funny, and joked with me a little, which calmed me down. The xray itself wasn't that bad either, at least untill she needed a side-view xray and I had to lay on my right side (that's the injured leg). That hurt pretty bad. x_X;; At least she was patient with me and understood doing that wasn't easy for me/hurt like hell.

After it was all overwith I went home, in more excruciating pain then when I left (it was the first time I've left the house in months, let alone walked around a lot), and passed out dead, from about...5-6pm till 3:30am. x.X;;; Then fell back asleep around 7am, and stayed dead till 1-2 in the afternoon. Ugh. And I'm STILL tired somehow. X_X;;

And now that that's over, I get to... wait some more. *sigh* .____.;; The xrays will go to the radiologist, they'll check them, write a report, and send it back to my doctor. She'll read the report, then contact me when/if she has a diagnosis. If the xrays don't show anything, THEN I have to go get an MRI. x.x;; Which I am SO hoping isn't nessicary... I'm not a fan of small spaces or loud machinery... *twitch*

.....Okay, I'm done complaining. .-.;; *brick'd*

*tagged*

littlekuriboh tagged me in his journal, so I will respond like a good little LiveJournal drone. XD

List five songs that you currently love. Post these instructions, the artists, & the songs in your blog. Then tag five other livejournal friends to see what they're listening to.

"Wicked" Original Broadway Cast - "Defying Gravity"
Dr. Reanimator - "Move Your Dead Bones"
Panic!! At The Disco - "Time To Dance"
Miki Shinichirou & Kawasumi Ayako - "Around the World (D. ROGERS mix)"
Cheico Kawabe - "Sakura Kiss"

Haha. It's so hard for me to choose just five songs. XD;; *has extremely wide/weird musical tastes*

Now I tag...um...peachychan6, amecandy, and mimi_tsukino. ....I need more friends on LJ. .-.;; *lame*

This is so totally the opposite of Super Special Awesome.

Okay, my profile lies. I AM going to use this journal for some emo-ranting afterall. Not like many people read this journal anyway, so it doesn't matter I guess. =D;;

Cut for rantingCollapse )

.....And that concludes Jena's way too long and pointless emo-rantfest. *brick'd x100*

(Crossposted to my no-longer-main journal. Because...I can. D:)
